Authors who publish with Jurnal Cendekia Mengabdi (JCM) agree to the following copyright and licensing provisions.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their published articles. By submitting and publishing an article in JCM, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, archive, and make the article available through the journal's electronic publishing platform.

The publication of an article in JCM does not transfer the authors' copyright ownership to the journal or publisher, except for the publication rights granted under the journal's publishing terms.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to use, share, and distribute their published work for legitimate academic, educational, professional, and scholarly purposes, subject to the licensing terms applied to the published article.

Authors may use their published articles for purposes such as:

Teaching and educational activities;
Community service and community empowerment activities;
Academic presentations, seminars, workshops, and scholarly communication;
Personal or institutional repositories;
Author websites and academic profiles;
Dissemination of knowledge to communities and relevant stakeholders; and
Other non-exclusive scholarly uses permitted under the applicable license.

When redistributing or reusing the published version, authors should provide appropriate acknowledgment of its original publication in Jurnal Cendekia Mengabdi (JCM).

Licensing

Articles published in JCM are made available under the license specified by the journal. The applicable license determines the conditions under which readers, researchers, institutions, community organizations, and other users may copy, distribute, adapt, or otherwise reuse published materials.

The license applicable to an article should be clearly displayed on the article page or within the published article. Users are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the applicable license.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts do not unlawfully infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.

Authors must obtain appropriate permission where necessary for copyrighted materials incorporated into their manuscripts, including:

Figures, illustrations, and photographs;
Tables and graphics;
Questionnaires and research instruments;
Datasets and other research materials;
Community documentation and photographs;
Logos or institutional materials; and
Other copyrighted or protected content.

Authors are also responsible for providing appropriate attribution, acknowledgment, and citation for materials obtained from other sources.

Community Documentation and Photographs

Authors submitting photographs, images, testimonials, or other documentation involving community service participants are responsible for ensuring that such materials may legally and ethically be published.

Where individuals are identifiable, authors should obtain appropriate permission or consent when required. Authors should also respect the privacy, dignity, and rights of individuals and communities represented in published materials.

Third-Party Material

Materials contained within an article that are owned or controlled by third parties may be subject to separate copyright, permission, or licensing terms.

Unless otherwise explicitly indicated, the license applied to an article published in JCM should not be assumed to override copyright or other rights associated with third-party materials.
