About the Journal
TINANDUR: International Journal of Education, Learning, and Innovation is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and innovation in education, teaching, and learning. The journal provides an international scholarly platform for researchers, educators, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original research, theoretical contributions, and evidence-based practices that address contemporary educational challenges and opportunities.
Inspired by the Javanese concept of tandur, meaning to plant or cultivate, TINANDUR embraces the philosophy that education is a continuous process of planting knowledge, nurturing intellectual growth, cultivating creativity, and generating meaningful transformation. This philosophy reflects the journal’s commitment to promoting educational research and innovative practices that contribute to the development of learners, educators, educational institutions, and society.
TINANDUR welcomes contributions employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches, as well as design-based research, educational research and development, systematic reviews, and other rigorous scholarly methodologies. The journal particularly encourages studies that offer clear theoretical contributions, methodological rigor, practical relevance, and implications for improving educational quality and learning outcomes.
The journal covers a broad range of educational fields, including curriculum development, pedagogy, learning sciences, educational technology, digital learning, artificial intelligence in education, assessment, teacher education, and educational innovation. It also welcomes interdisciplinary research that connects education with social, cultural, technological, and scientific developments.
Through rigorous peer review and a commitment to academic integrity, research quality, and scholarly dialogue, TINANDUR seeks to foster the exchange of ideas across disciplines and geographical contexts. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of educational knowledge and the development of inclusive, innovative, evidence-informed, and sustainable educational practices.
